Ruki II - Face

I've started on a new piece! *w* Despite my crazy schedule at work :(
I don't ever wanna lose my momentum, y'know... this being my forte as well. It's only a pity that the industry in Singapore doesn't accept this kind of....talent. BOO. Not to say im very talented either but anyhoo, at least there are still conventions in the next half of the year to boost confidence as an artist and to show that Singaporean artists can be as good!!! heh.

One of my aims for Cosfest this year is to produce a bookmark set dedicated to one of my favourite JRock bands - GAZETTE. =) Guess I didn't put enough consideration about bookmarks when I did my previous paintings of Ruki, Uruha and Aoi. *lolfail* They were in all shapes and sizes ahaha.. ^^;;

Now that I've thought through for each of the 5 members, my bookmark set WILL BE POSSIBLE desu!! yush! *punch air*

I shall start with lead singer Ruki again. Haha...

Getting the eye shape...


Eyes COMPLETE! I love drawing eyes ^^ And ruki's eyes always come out beautiful after completion. Must be his contacts ahaha


The nose... I always start with the nose holes LOL. or nostrils. But I prefer calling them nose holes xD


Adding highlights to the nose and the face.. More adjustments will be done to face as I go along anyway. Like shadows after I've done the hair..


The mouth~!! His lovely mouth xD LOL. I'm quite happy with how it came out. dozens of colours there!
