Byou - Hair & Clothes

Yes you saw it. I attempted the HAIR and CLOTHES on the same day x_x
ahaha... obviously I didn't finish it. This piece is way too detailed! But I guess I'm happy with the result....so far. Ignore the usual screw-ups eheh~

Work has taken over my life and therefore, I have the right to be slow at this. LOL gets shot


Hair base. Just a random layer of the darkest shade of hair. This layer doesnt have to be accurate at all btw.


Hard-brush layer.


Lol changed the background colour because white was killing my already blind eyes~




Soft-brush layer.


Soft-brush layer complete! Ok not really, there're still some more hairs at the bottom to sort out but I'll leave that til after I've done the clothes. Oh, randomly coloured in the neck too. So I know how long the hair below goes? =P


Hmm, thought I should correct the eye a bit. It still looks off...somehow, he's supposed to be staring AT YOU. lol.


Added eyelashes ahaha...sometimes it's better to emphasize something that's not in the original picture. To cover up mistakes OHOHO!

Alright enough of hair and eyeballs. I wanna move on to the clothes!!!! Because it's a total killer and you'll see why.


Let's start with the outline of the right side of the clothes. Left side. Right side. Le- Ok THIS side of the clothes.


The first signs of little fur.....heh


Fur on first "flap" complete.


T-then I realised...there was MORE fur! ahaha. It's a furry jacket I guess. I hope. ^^;;


It's so much fur it's like I ripped out all of Santa's beard.


Fur complete, now the lame part. I guess it's supposed to be some leopard-print design.. ughh I hate drawing these fur spots. They're like irregular and wobbly and I always draw it inaccurately. xD

Haha, I finished the leopard-print-fur-portion but forgot to take a screenshot lol~ I was again distracted by the EYE.


I did a major revamp to it this time. It really looked weird. Now it looks like a natural eye and I love it!!! *w*

omg im too tired...at least I made huge progress today! ahaha I'm talking like some failed amateur art student. (well I am anyway xD) I was totally right when I did the first WIP of this in the previous post which is almost a month ago huhu. It really tested my patience; the hair and the furry jacket =P And now I realised the other side of the jacket has even more fur and layers ahahaha~~8D
