Kevin - Finished! (plus ref)

It's been about 3 days, and I finally finished this piece ^^ I'm gonna show you the reference pic in a bit. But first just a short disclaimer, the picture belongs to my friend Kevin and must not be re-used or posted anywhere else claiming that you are him or whatsoever funny reason lol.

Same goes for the art! It's done by me and the following WIPs are good enough to show you how I did everything :)

Reason I fell in love with this pic is because of the smoke. Even though I know I'm gonna die drawing the hair haha~

I shall continue where we left the last time...with the HAND.



I'm aware the arm is a little out of shape. :/


Drawing out the shape of the fingernails...


Change BG colour so poor blind me is able to see the white smoke ^^;;


The smoke was really fun to draw!! It covered almost the whole hand ahahaha

Shaded the rest of the background!! Yes I drew his head alot smaller than the area/space I intended. Always good to have more space in your document rather than realising you've drawn too big. Like my "Mao" picture if you remember....eheh.




Random strokes for the background~ The picture is almost complete! But not quite!



Shifted his right eyebrow nearer to the eye. Oh the wonders of digital art~ xD


Last but not least, the clothes and necklace and extra strands of hair~


And I re-did the hair again and again at many intervals :/


5 layers of hair WOOHOO! Including the weird "3D effect" layer which is really just a soft-brush paint over the hard-brush layers.. no idea what to call it.
