Aoi - the beginning
Here're some WIPs from my 2nd painting of Aoi from Gazette!! And yessss, last installation for my Gazette 2010 bookmark series. *WOO!* It will finally be completed before cosfest!
This is the sketch. With a bit of face base colour blocked in. All those crosses mark the nose, mouth, eyes...
Started on the nose first as usual~
And then the eye. I loooove the eyes best about this painting~!! I think my "eye-painting-level" has levelled up lol
His lips are at a weird angle... I dunno, tried my best to make it look nicer by adding a "glossy" effect. This is not a plug-in or anything btw. I paint everything you see there.
The Ear.
And the hair finally~!! omgah the front portion of his hair (the ones that come down the front of the face) were quite hard, I was afraid of it "clashing" with the nose.
Will continue another day!! So much for now~
